With a wide variety of scenic backdrops throughout the gardens, an engagement session here allows for effortlessly elegant photos and a meaningful, memorable experience for couples as they spend the afternoon strolling through the scenery.

2. Crest Road

Stunning views of the city you love, unbelievable fall colors & timeless architecture. What more could you ask for?! This beloved gem is nestled right in the heart of the Highland Park area of Birmingham and couldn't be a better spot for engagement photos! It provides stunning views year-round but I am partial to fall as you can see below!

Just a short drive east of downtown Birmingham, this picturesque stretch of land near the Church of the Highlands Grants Mill Campus offers a serene and open setting for engagement sessions. 4. Federal Building and US Courthouse

In the heart of downtown, you will find the Robert S. Vance Federal Building. Its pristine marble columns, grand steps, and clean architectural lines create an elegant, refined atmosphere that feels both modern and timeless. This iconic downtown Birmingham location is perfect for couples drawn to a polished, editorial look with a touch of classic grandeur.

5. Sicard Hollow Park & Trails

Tucked away as a hidden gem within a local Birmingham park, the Sicard Hollow Trail offers a peaceful and naturally beautiful setting for engagement sessions. In the spring and summer months, the trail comes alive with blooming florals and lush greenery, opening up to fields with stunning sunset views. While it may initially appear to be a simple playground area, a short walk down the path reveals a serene backdrop perfect for natural and relaxed engagement photos.

Aldridge Gardens holds so many cherished childhood memories for me and has naturally become one of my favorite locations for engagement sessions in Birmingham. With winding trails that loop around the lake and countless scenic pockets throughout the gardens, couples could easily spend hours exploring and soaking in the beauty of the space. Known for its abundant hydrangea blooms in the spring and summer and vibrant fall colors as the seasons change, Aldridge Gardens offers a romantic, timeless backdrop for engagement photos in every season.

7. South Highland Presbyterian Church

This stunning church in the heart of downtown Birmingham offers a timeless and elevated setting for engagement photos, making it a beautiful choice in any season. With clean architectural lines, soft natural light, and a European inspired feel, the space provides a simple yet elegant backdrop that feels classic and eye-catching. When planning a session here, it’s always important to remain respectful of the church grounds and scheduled services - especially when photographing on Sundays!
